I’m so excited! I got mail today with the news the books are on their way to me. And I received the cover picture. I want to share it with you, so you can celebrate with me.
“Der Mannwolf von Königsberg” is a historical thriller set in Königsberg, Prussia, in the year 1822. The wars are a thing of the past, and the city is prospering again. But then a series of gruesome murders upsets the people in town. Fear grows, and soon some whisper about a mad wolf, possibly even a man-wolf who kills at night and always under the full moon.
Soon, however, it becomes obvious that the identy of the murderer is not the only secret kept among the walls of Königsberg and the dark forests that surround it. Midnight meetings, ancient intrigue and mysterious doppelgangers are woven into a sinister tangle that treatens to bring doom to everyone involved.
It took Timo Bader and me a lot of time and effort to create this tale. It was at times rather difficult to coordinate the action over many chapters, since we each wrote our own main character. Still, I think the effort was worth it. The end product is a great historical thriller, even if I say it myself.
Soon, I will hold the books in my own hands – it’s a dream coming true. Of course, you can get signed copies through me, but be warned: The novel is in German.
Love the cover, and the story sounds fascinating!
Thanks, Renee!
